With the support of USAID/OTI, the Network of Ethiopian Women’s Association (NEWA) organized a national conference on the result of Coffee for Peace women-led community conversation

With the support of USAID/OTI, the Network of Ethiopian Women’s Association (NEWA) organized a national conference on the result of Coffee for Peace women-led community conversation conducted by the Ethiopian Women Peace Builders (EWPB).

The national conference was started by a concise prayer for Tigray mourning period of those who killed in the recent civil war.
 
Bunna Leselam - Mrs SabaNEWA’s Executive Directress Saba Gebremedhin& H.E Alemitu Omud state minister of MoWSA delivered their opening remarks and welcomed the participants. Mrs Saba in her speech noted the overview of Coffee for Peace, and activities conducted under the project.

One of the EWPB member Dr.Berhan D. presented the outcome document of Coffee for Peace women’s community conversation on peace and security.

The Network of the Ethiopian Women’s Associations (NEWA) as its strategic objective and with the support of USAID/OTI implemented the project “ቡና ለ ሰላም”/ “coffee for peace!” “Bunna Le Selam” – is a women-led local Community Conversation for Peace.
