NEWA in collaboration with Ministry of Justice, and Ministry of women and social affair facilitated a familiarization workshop
With the support of UN Women Ethiopia, the Networks of Ethiopian Women’s Association (NEWA) in collaboration with the Ministry of Justice, and the Ministry of Women and Social Affairs facilitated a familiarization workshop on the introduction of national five-year strategy on violence against women and Children. A presentation on the national strategy of violence against women and children was held by Ms Miraf T/Eyesus who is a team leader and public prosecutor of women& cross-cutting affairs in the Ministry of Justice.
The familiarization workshop, participants had a group discussion and reflection on how to implement the strategy on the national strategy.
The workshop continued for two days.
