NEWA delivered 3 days training that focuses on gender in humanitarian action, leadership, advocacy skills & on identifying GBV risks
NEWA in collaboration with UN women is implementing a project that focuses on prevention of SGBV and response in Afar and Amhara.
In line with this, Network of Ethiopian Women’s Associations (NEWA) has delivered a three-days training that focuses on gender in humanitarian action, leadership, advocacy skills and on identifying GBV risks and engage in GBV mitigation strategies, referral pathways, and community-level protection mechanisms to 25 representatives of Women Rights Organizations (WROs), women’s groups and other stakeholders from Afar and Amhara regions.
The training has been conducted from October 25- 27, 2022 at AZZEMAN Hotel.
